New camera!

Tomorrow I’m going into town to get my new Nikon camera. It's the Nikon D5200 18-55MM VR. I’ll probably film a new video this weekend with it - I’m looking so much forward to that!

Makeup for less happy occasions

Today I went to my grandmothers funeral. Even though it's very sad, she's in a better place now. I wanted to do some makeup that would be appropriate to wear to something like a funeral. Since I'm in England to be here for the funeral, and I'm therefor on a trip, I couldn't bring to much makeup. I ended up bringing two Mac lipsticks - Craving and Rebel. I then ended up choosing Rebel with a Mac lip pencil in Vino underneath. On the eyes I wore Mac eyeshadows in Ricepaper and Patina, and then I used the shadow in my beloved Sleek Makeup Browkit in dark to darken the look a bit, and also to do my brows. On my face I wore my Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Foundation and L'Oréal True Match powder to set that. On the cheeks I wore my new Mac blush, which is Melba. I highlighted with my Mac Mineralize Skinfinish in Lightscapade.

It came out nice, lasted all day and survived quite a few tears. So here's something you can do for makeup, if you are going to something like a funeral or if you are going to something a bit more formal than the usual parties or family gatherings. The dark lipstick is nice in the winter times when you are going out, but for summer, I would choose a lighter shade. You could therefore do the eyes with the colors I chose today, but with a lighter lip shade for more happy and more summer'ish look.

Goodnight

So I bought a new pajamas while I was in London. Its white with cute little yellow chicks on it and they are saying, "Tweet me!" I bought it in Primark for, I believe £5. We don't have Primark here in Denmark, so it's always nice to go there and get some basic stuff whenever I'm in London. Today I also got a new nail-polish from L'Oréal for 40 Danish kroner, which is about £4 since everything in England is a bit cheaper than here, because of all the taxes we have on everything in Denmark. The colour is "So Chic Pink" and it's a really cute orangey-pink'ish red colour, which is really cute for spring.
Earlier this week I was wearing a nail-polish from Topshop called "Flamingo Coral", and that is a really cute colour for spring as well.

LONDON BABY!

Last Friday, I came home from a study-trip to London with my class. We were there from Monday to Friday, and I actually went shopping every single day, even though we had some school stuff to do every day but Monday. I bought everything from Nike shoes to lipsticks. I might do a mini-haul of some of my favorite things, but I'm not sure yet. I think I might do another spring tutorial with some of the make-up instead. Let me know, if anyone has any wishes!

Love Daisy Ann xoxo
